Mr. Shyres has the excellent legal experience you deserve. He first-chaired jury and bench trials to verdict, has fought in countless depositions and hearings, and argued before many judges in Southern California.
Mr. Shyres is a well-respected member of the Southern California legal community. Mr. Shyres is a member of the Los Angeles County Bar Association, Long Beach Bar Association, and a member of the prestigious Indigent Criminal Defense Appointments panel. Mr. Shyres knows many of the Judges and prosecutors through his professional networks and also being in court so often — Mr. Shyres is usually in court five days a week.
Mr. Shyres has worked in legal fields including: business litigation, consumer/warranty (lemon law), family law, criminal law, construction defect litigation and workers’ compensation. Now, Mr. Shyres focuses his practice on criminal law.
While attending Loyola Law School in Los Angeles, California, Mr. Shyres received a First Honors award in International Protection of Technology, clerked for a number of law firms and legal corporations, and was a certified law clerk for the Los Angeles County District Attorney’s Office in Downtown Los Angeles.
Prior to law school, Mr. Shyres worked at The Measurement Group (TMG) for nearly two years as a researcher and then a website administrator. At TMG, Mr. Shyres worked with underserved and at-risk populations.
Mr. Shyres graduated from UCLA with bachelor’s degrees in Economics and Sociology. At UCLA, he was on the Deans’ List and earned the Chancellor’s Service Award for his community service that honored his volunteering leadership in Watts and Downey.
